We loved our first visit to Poppy’s! They are so welcoming and informative. Our daughter had so much fun with all the books and stuffies they have in the exam room. They were very patient with her during the exam, which can be hard for a 19 month old. They prepared us well for what she would do (crying, which she did) and that it’s very normal. We can’t wait to come back!

Poppi Dental is an amazing pediatric dental office. The staff is so friendly, the dentist is amazing and my son feels so comfortable when he comes here!

The attention to detail from beginning to end has felt thoughtful, caring, thorough and professional. Whether scheduling an appointment, being in the chair, talking about care plans, dealing with insurance… I and my kids always have felt important, uniquely seen, and professionally cared for — all at once, which I find unique in healthcare and dentistry.

I have three kids, and Dr. Andrea approaches each of them uniquely and takes time to understand them holistically. She is up to date on best practices, which, combined with her hands-on experience with kids over the years, really makes you confident you’re getting the best possible care.

I’ve been to other pediatric dentists in Marin and San Francisco, and this is the only one I completely trust AND my kids are excited for!!

Great first dentist trip for the kiddos! The whole team was warm and friendly. Dr. Andrea never made us feel rushed and was great showing the kids her dentist outfit and all the tools. Their set up is great and the kids are now playing dentist and talking about what toy they want next time. If only they saw adults too :)

My daughter genuinely walks away feeling very proud of herself after her appointments. This is in part because of how much the staff works with her to not be afraid of her appointment. It’s an extremely kid forward and friendly environment.

This place is amazing! They were so great with my three-year-old son and really took the time to answer all of my questions.

Dr. Andrea and her staff are the best! My nephew cried when he left because he wanted more dentist. They are patient and understanding with my two boys, and make it easy for me to bring both of them together. My oldest is autistic, every other dentist experience has been so difficult, but Dr Andrea has really put in conscious effort to make her office a pleasant (yet calm!) place for kids to be, and it makes all the difference!

Incredible children’s dentist! Dr. Andrea and her staff are incredibly patient, compassionate, encouraging and gentle. My child has anxious and claustrophobic tendencies: both Dr. Andrea and her staff use thoughtful strategies and distractions to make any procedures and cleanings easy and even fun. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness at the dentist — especially children. I only wish I’d had such a great dentist experience as a child.

Both of my kids LOVE going to the dentist at Poppy kids — which feels like a major parental win. ;) The first time my older child was there, he said “10/10!” in describing the experience. My 6 year old says “Yay!” when I tell her she has a dental appointment. Ashley and Dr Andrea make you feel welcome and at ease, and they are super patient and accommodating if the kids are having a hard time with anything. I’m so thankful to have been recommended to them by our orthodontist.

We love Poppy Kids. My kids are never nervous about going to the dentist to see Dr. Andrea. In fact, they look forward to it! She really knows how to engage with little kids and make them so comfortable. A plus for me is the variety of drinks she offers to patients. We love Poppy Kids and would give them a 10/5 stars if we could!

Absolutely stellar team at Poppy Kids. My son is on the spectrum, but you wouldn’t know it from the way the entire team has put my son at ease. We’ve had 3 visits now, and what has stood out is their kindness, patience and expertise. They are 2nd to none.

Such a great team and office for little ones! The staff is so sweet and incredibly attentive. I had an appointment for my 1 year old who chipped a front tooth and had to bring my 3 year old along and they basically babysat both kids while I was going over everything with the dentist. The office is spotless and they’ve thought of everything to keep kids happy. Toys, a movie room, prizes when you leave. My 3 year old left excited for his turn to go to the dentist with stickers, bubbles and a bouncy ball in tow. I definitely didn’t have this luxurious of an experience at the dentist as a kid.

Look no further, Poppy Kids is the BEST pediatric dental office! Dr. Andrea and her team are the kindest, so good with the kiddos, and their office is beautiful. My kids love going every 6 months.
Our last visit, Dr. Andrea talked to my 3.5 year old about how it was time to stop sucking her fingers as it was starting to mess up her bite/teeth. What I thought was going to be the biggest battle to get her to stop, ending up being the easiest transition. My daughter literally stopped sucking her fingers that night, it’s been three weeks now and she is officially done with the habit! I’m amazed, Dr. Andrea is the best!!!

Best dentist for kids!! My 5 year old went to a “regular dentist” and freaked out was sooo scared, then I found Poppy Kids Dentistry and he loves coming here. So nice to not be a struggle/stressful.

Poppy Kids is the most amazing dentist for kids. I was referred to Poppy Kids after my child had gone through 3 dentists that left her with a traumatic dental experience at age 5. Poppy Kids treated her with such kindness and supported her through a very challenging dental journey and now going to the dentist is her favorite thing! The staff are wonderful people that make the experience for kids so easy - talking them through all of the processes and having state-of-the-art equipment that actually make going to the dentist fun. I know that my kids will be treated well every time they go to Poppy Kids. I only wish Poppy Kids could be my dentist too!

Dentist and staff were great!

I’ve been super impressed with Dr. Andrea Aduna and team. They are super patient, are happy to explain steps, and truly let the child take the lead so that it’s a positive experience. The office aesthetic is lovely and super kid-focused. There are screens overhead which was a non-negotiable for one of my kids 😅. Their prize basket is filled with valuable loot. Walking out of second appointment to seal molars after first appointment Dr. Aduna stopped since he was having a hard time and we didn’t want to create a negative experience, he said “I almost want to do that again.” This time we gave nitrous oxide and that was super helpful in calming his nerves and relaxing his gag reflex. Point being, the office isn’t rushed and wants to do it the right way with the child feeling good about it too.

We were previously at Novato Children’s Dentistry on Grant. We left after the dentist did some questionable and upsetting things (check my review on that page for more info)
Not only was the staff here SO sweet but the dentist was knowledgeable. She gave me her knowledgeable opinion without the pressure of having to make a financial choice right there. She was the trust worthy, knowledgeable, and worked amazing with my girls. We’re lucky we found her.

Poppy Kids did a fantastic job with our toddler's first dentist visit. On top of being very professional, they were very thoughtful about what steps to take before, during, and after the visit to decrease anxiety and build a good attitude towards the dentist and brushing!

My daughter had her first (and hopefully only) filling today at Poppy Kids Pediatric. The entire team made it such an easy, do i dare say fun, experience. With their informative approach, my daughter wasn’t scared and was super relaxed. It didn’t hurt that she also left with a toy out of their toy basket, sticker and popsicle!

Had my babies first dentist appointment there and it was amazing! They know how to make going to the dentist a fun experience for kids and parents. Friendliest staff ever, just all around the perfect dentist for kids.

Took my two year old for a visit and it was a great experience! Office was bright, cheery, modern and welcoming, as was the staff. They were very accommodating for children with screens on the ceiling to play Disney+ during the cleaning and prizes from the toy chest and stickers after we were done. Dr Andrea was very patient and did a great job educating me on goals and expectations for oral hygiene as a parent to a young child.

The first appointment for kids under three is free and after that they have a membership plan that can offer savings on all of the annual checkups for the year. Our dental insurance covers very few local practices, so this is a great way to save for those with limited or no dental insurance.

I can see this being our dental home :)

We had a great experience at Poppy Kids. After an unsuccessful dental cleaning attempt with our 2yr old at our family dentist, they referred to Dr. Andrea. She was amazing! Dr. Andrea was able to do a full cleaning on our son and a proper full dental check up. The office has TVs on the ceiling, play area, iPads and stickers- they’ve got it all! If you have kids, I highly recommend Poppy Kids.

Dr.Andrea is phenomenal. I’ve tried a couple of other pediatric dentists in Marin County, and she is by far the most professional and kind. She truly cares about my child and his well being. She’s thorough, and will take her time with both my toddler and to answer all the questions I have for her. She’s truly amazing and I highly recommend her. My toddler loves going to see Dr. Andrea! The staff are also kind, friendly and super accommodating. The office space is beautiful, clean, kid friendly but also aesthetically pleasing. Honestly, just blown away at our experience here!!! I almost chose another local pediatric dentist for our boy, but something told me this place would be the one we love. We brought our son for his 1Year checkup and we are so thankful to have such a great team here. The level of care, compassion, and attention to detail is just so special.

When they first met our boy, they remembered he liked Mickey Mouse and asked if it was okay to play Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the TV in the baby room to help him settle in and be more comfortable. I LOVED this. He also got a great goody bag of products, (so did mom!!- extra bonus!), he got to pick a toy out at the end, and we even received the sweetest welcome letter in the mail after our visit with a Mickey Mouse sticker!

Aside from the great level of care, is the great eye the doctor has. She noticed several things on our boy I didn’t even think of mentioning, but she recognized it and brought them to my attention and I loved that. These were very small details that can easily be missed but they weren’t.

Dr Andrea and Ashley in the front were so kind and amazing ! Ashley was very kind to my son for it being his first time. Dr.Andrea and her team are the best. From the moment you walk in to the office you are greeted with a smile! It was my sons first dentist appointment and she was so sweet and welcoming, made sure all my questions were answered and informed me on all I need to know to set my boy up for success when it comes to his teeth! We brought our 18 month old son for his first dentist appointment to Dr. Andrea and everything was great! While we waited, we were offered water, coffee, etc. and then once ready, we were given a brief tour of the office and then sat down with Dr. Andrea. She did a ~2 minute mouth check, but the rest of the appointment was to go over any concerns and discuss proper dental hygiene in toddlers. At the end, we were given a goodie bag of dental products and a toy for a son to pick out. Everyone was super friendly and the office was very modern and clean! Overall, we had a great first dentist experience with our son at Poppy Kids!

The first trip to the dentist for our little one and Dr. Andrea made us all feel so welcomed. We got a tour of the office and all they had to offer, but the most exciting part was choosing a toy at the end! Thank you Dr. Andrea for being so patient with us and not pressuring the little one into anything she was comfortable doing.

My daughter got sealants on her teeth today. We had tried a few years ago unsuccessfully with a different dentist but today it was a total breeze. Dr. Andrea explained everything that she was going to do before she did it and constantly checked in with my daughter during the process. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating and has totally changed our experience into a positive one with going to the dentist. It used to be all tears but now with Poppy Kids it is all smiles! We highly recommend Poppy Kids!!!

I was impressed with the entire experience. It’s a bright and fun environment. Everyone was so helpful, kind, and friendly. Dr. Andrea was all of that and more. She is very smart, matter of fact, communicative and warm. Moreover, she did an incredible job at making the experience as comfortable as it could be for my 4 year old and 2 year old, all while giving total quality care. They’ve really nailed it in terms of making a visit to the dentist least intimidating as possible for kids.

We had a great experience at Poppy’s! After a few years at another dentist with a pretty poor experience I knew we needed to change or my 6 year old would be scarred for life. I took my almost 2 year old and 6 year old….no tears from either and the staff was so kind and patient and made them feel comfortable every step of the way! Lovely people here! Ashley welcomed us and offered drinks, and ipad for the kid (if we allow it of course). I am so impressed with Poppy Dental! The office is super cute and inviting. My boys can’t wait to go and today my 8 year old son had 4 sealants and a rather large filling on his back molar. In the past (with other dental offices who specialize in sensory issues with kids) we had to put him completely out to work on his teeth because he has a lot of anxiety but Dr. Andrea Aduna was amazing. So patient and kind and explained each step. She gave him breaks when he needed it so it was a positive experience. Their staff is so friendly and helpful! Reasonably priced! I highly recommend everyone to take their kids here. I don’t go out of my way to write reviews but when I’m super impressed I will. This office deserves a 10 star rating!!! Thank you so much!

I cannot speak more highly of our experience at Poppy Kids and of Dr. Andrea and her staff. We were referred to Dr. Andrea because my daughter's tooth was infected and needed to be extracted. When I reached out, the person I spoke to was kind, helpful and thorough. Since this was an urgent issue, they were able to get us in the next day even though they had a full schedule. Dr. Andrea herself emailed me back the night before our appointment with some helpful information about what our insurance coverage was and the membership program she offers.

At our consult, my daughter immediately fell in love with the office space and Dr. Andrea. Dr. Andrea is clearly in her genius zone as a pediatric dentist. She is very friendly and made my daughter feel at ease immediately. She explains everything to kids and parents really well comparing tools and sensations they might feel to things they have everyday experiences with.

My daughter received a card in the mail after our consult and she exclaimed, "Mommy, you will never guess who this card is from! It is from Dr. Andrea!" She was so tickled to receive a handwritten note in the mail from her dentist. This is above and beyond helping kids have a good experience with their dentist!

When it came to getting my daughter's tooth extracted, she made sure she understood everything that she was going to do, let her pick out a movie to watch with noise canceling headphones, and made it very easy for her. After Dr. Andrea extracted my daughter's tooth, she asked, did you take my tooth out yet;-). Needless to say, she was appropriately numbed so she didn't feel any pain. Dr. Andrea has a basket of not-your-average dentist treasure basket and my daughter was thrilled with her "prize" and was also given a popsicle after the procedure. She also gave us some great advice on home care.

Poppy Kids is the best dental experience we've had for our kids. If you haven't found a pediatric dentist you love for your kids, I highly recommend going to see Dr. Andrea at Poppy Kids. You will not regret it.

Who knew the dentist could be SO FUN?!

I brought my two-year-old and four-year-old for a check up. Poppy recently hosted a community event, and I found out that kids under three are free!

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the staff were so kind, welcoming and supportive. Here's what we loved most:

1) the facility is absolutely gorgeous! Everything is brand new, and they thought of everything, including a little kids lounge in the back area, and a TV screen on the ceiling for kids to watch their favorite movies while they get their check up! My son was so excited!!

2) so efficient! Dr. Andrea is incredible and was able to assess both of my kids. Dental needs in a matter of minutes.

3) so accommodating! The staff here go above, and beyond to make kids feel comfortable, and they have thought of every detail, including a goodie bag at the end to get them, excited about their dental routine, and a prize basket which my kids went crazy for

4) very patient! My son was super tentative about the dentist and has a strong, gag reflex, but Dr. Andrea made him feel so comfortable and went at his pace.

We will most definitely be back and can't wait for our next appointment! My son was talking about the dentist all night long after we left 🤣

My only suggestion is that they put some kids toys in the waiting room since I had to fill out paperwork for two kids while trying to keep them from getting into everything at the same time. I also think it might be helpful to consolidate some of the information that they ask for in the paperwork to speed up the first time check in process.

Today was our first visit to Poppy and the treatment we received from the minute we stepped into their business was exceptional. The staff is so friendly and they did everything possible to make us feel welcomed, especially the lady working the front desk. The Dentist was so comforting with our children and she really made them feel at home. You're the best, Poppy Pediatric Dentistry!

Kind attentive dentist.

My toddler had her first dentist visit here and was soothed from the start with a friendly welcome and a colorful lobby area. Everything went so well that she is still plying “dentist” at home and loves her new dental swag. She even let Dr. Andrea brush and floss her teeth and she’s not even three! Thank you to the whole Poppy Kids team for making our experience so positive!

I wish I (as an adult) could sit in the chair of Poppy Kids, the entire experience from our first visit and basic cleaning to some pretty substantial extractions, has been phenomenal! All kids have a different level of comfort when it comes to having someone working in their mouths but the patience, grace, consideration of time and comfort to just overall being a super cool team of people has been really incredible. I cannot say enough good things…because there are many more… if you are looking for a dentist for your children, I highly recommend the Poppy Team!

I just wish they took adults!

We love Dr Andrea!! I took my kids to see her a few days ago, and they’re already asking when we can go back. They don’t wanna wait another 6 months for their cleanings!! I highly recommend Poppy Kids Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Andrea was so patient and took her time to explain everything. Going to the dentist has always been a huge struggle with my girls and my oldest used to cry every time. We left with huge smiles and my girls said we definitely want to go to this dentist every time. My daughter said “The dentist told me everything she was going to do before she did it and explained what it was going to feel like and she let me take breaks when I needed to.” We are huge fans and would recommend them anyone!

I am not usually one to leave reviews, but our experience at Poppy Dentistry was so great that I felt the need to share. My 2 year old is extremely nervous in any medical setting, and because of this we had been putting off taking her to the dentist, but the team at Poppy Dentistry pulled out all the stops to make her comfortable. We were so grateful for the patient and empathetic approach the Dr. took with her. She was so excited about the "goody bag" they gave her, and had a great experience all around. I wasn't able to attend the appointment due to a work obligation, so my daughter's grandfather took her. The Dr. took the time to call me after the appointment and spent 20 minutes given an in depth follow up which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this practice!

Amazing dentist. I am very happy to have found this place. I would highly recommend it. They are very knowledgeable about kids behaviors and how to deal with first timers, and make them feel comfortable. My son is afraid of doctors, but this was the first time he felt comfortable in front of a doctor.

First off, this office is so beautiful, simple, and clean! Dr. Andrea and her assistant Nicole were so welcoming and personable. I brought my 2 year old daughter in for her fist visit and they made her feel right at home. Dr. Andrea showed my daughter all of her tools and made sure she was 100% comfortable before starting anything. Carter loved picking out her prize at the end and we left with a goody bag full of dental care. What a wonderful experience, we can't wait to come back!

Dr. Andrea was amazing. She was thorough, took the time to explain what she was seeing during the exam and on the X-rays, and was very gentle with my boys’ exams. The office is clean and welcoming. Her staff made us feel comfortable and we even got a full tour of the office upon arrival.

My children and I were totally blown away by Dr. Andrea and the new Poppy Kids Pediatric Dentistry! The office itself is gorgeous, calming and so well designed, and Dr. Andrea could not have been more amazing. What a wonderful experience! Dr. Andrea and her assistant Nicole were great. This was my sons first dental visit and it was fantastic! Dr. Andrea made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door, got our appointment started right away (I had done all the paperwork before my appointment at home via patient portal). Dr. Andrea walked Cooper through the steps of what she would be doing so that he wasn’t afraid. Cooper was very happy after and ended our visit with a high five and knuckles.

We have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Andrea at Poppy Kids! She put my daughter at ease during what was a very frightening experience (falling and breaking a permanent tooth!). She was reassuring, answered questions, and took time to make sure my daughter was comfortable throughout the visit. We had such a wonderfully positive, gentle experience with Dr. Andrea and her staff. Every single person was friendly, patient, warm and took time to make sure our children were comfortable throughout our entire visit.
